ABOUT DBF ENRICHMENT ACADEMY
Head of School's Welcome,
I am so glad you choose to interest yourself in what I'd like to call the "The new generation of change". I am so proud and blessed to have serviced my community for the past 8 years, in aiding our youth girls with mentoring, resources, educational guidance and life skills training. We as the leaders of today must use what we were taught to plant seeds in our youth to aid in manifesting brighter prospering futures. I have a background in youth development (10 years), personal & professional etiquette (6years), communication, caregiving and life coaching. I believe in providing sustainable advocacy for young women through mentoring, wisdom, encouragement & experience. I do not only believe in 2nd chances, but also a young lady should have different options on becoming a successful citizen. Statics are, Only 41% of students graduate from college in four years. Imagine if there was an alternative option for the remaining students to choose a path on being the person they are destined to be. I have created a program where young ladies will have the opportunity to receive the nurturing in life skills & education by implementing The art of home economics & women's history in every aspect of their daily lives. What some might take for granted, home economics is the balance in cooking, nutrition, housekeeping, personal finance, personal wellness, and family issues. These key areas are the back bone to womanhood. I truly believe each and every young lady should have the opportunity to experience a class in home economics. Women history is also so critically important because it is the guild to learning about who we are and where we come from as women. Etiquette teaches class, History teaches confidence, volunteering teaches patience and social skills teaches stability.
We will teach them about the trailblazers who paved the way before them to helps boost areas in self-esteem, stregnth and resoluteness.
My ultimate pillars of success are; character, perseverance, consistency, education and sisterhood.
I am a woman of GOD, mother, daughter, sister, friend, speaker, motivator, mentor, educator, creator, business woman. This is my faith walk and I am walking boldly in my passion to lead a generation of prospering women.

DBF Color Code
Always accepting self. Forgiving ourselves and those who have hurt us. Everyone has a past, but you can't live in unwanted mental places. Here at DBF, we've created exercises and activities to help our girls cope with grief, depression, past failures, mistakes, with no judgement. Allowing them the space needed to properly heal and grow.
Cheer when your almost there!
Every step towards the betterment of your life deserves recognition. Always finding balance in your emotions by identifying inner peace . It is okay to cry but not all day. It is okay to fall but get back up. It's okay to fail but learn and keep going. This is where your story begins. Make every chapter worth reading.
Exhale its time to celebrate! There are 4 stages of the butterfly.
The egg- The seed that has been planted
The caterpillar- The watering period.
The chrysalis- The moving period.
The butterfly- The results
Bridge Program for outside organizations:
We graduate our girls to the next level of divahood by honoring them with a pearl & flower ceremony, once they've completed their 11 week D.I.V.A course.
Divas Build Futures Inc. was founded October 14, 2014 in Apple Valley California by Ms. Asha Scott. Starting with just 3 girls, Ms.Scott began mentoring in confidence, self-esteem & etiquette out of her 2 bedroom apartment. Helping young ladies with needs such as hygiene items and clothing also connecting them with community resources. Slowing grabbing the attention of other young ladies in the community. Ms Asha was often seen taking daily trips to the library being a support system in researching career options from trade programs to universities. In November of 2014, Ms. Scott was proud to present DBF to the public for the 1st time at the "Victorville Fall Festival" as a nonprofit empowerment group for girls. Continuing to mentor girls through her own adversities, she began partnering with local schools and youth groups to expand and mentor more girls in the community. In October of 2015 DBF had its 1st community event "Hoops for breast cancer" benefiting young women with resources who was currently battling breast cancer. This event raised $2,500.00. by selling candy, chips, food plates and cinnabons. DBF made wigs, provided clothing and food items to the recipients. By the fall of 2016, Ms Scott had partnered with nearly 5 different organizations throughout San Fernando Valley Ca, assisting close to 200+ girls with mentoring and introducing personal/professional development etiquette classes. May 2016, Asha and her 2 children relocated to Mckinney Texas where they began a new fulfilling, prosperous journey following Gods plan. September 2016 Ms. Scott partnered with North Texas Jobcorps where she introduced her development program for girls and began mentoring the young ladies at NTJC. Joining the Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce, Asha started to bring the young ladies she was mentoring to volunteer at events and business meetings to give them the experience, exposure and social skills needed to perform duties in their everyday lives. Ms Asha Scott became the "2018 Collin County Black Chamber of Commerce Trailblazer of the year" following the "2018 Collin County's Volunteer of the year", Ms. Scott was nominated for the Philanthropy award by "The woman of color Plano Profile magazine on June of 2019" With determination and ambition, April 30 2019 Ms. Asha Scott opened "The DBF ALL Girls Youth Center" where she provided services such as:
